Software coder for P4 Language on SmartNIC
The ideal candidate:
- Knows the Ethernet protocol (802.3) and the key system
protocols it carries (ARP, DNS, etc.).
- Has experience or is interested in the communications
industry.
- Wants to get into a startup working on something new.
This work requires familiarity with the IP/TCP-UDP
layers. Incumbent will be familiar with the P4
programming language for the packet processor chips in
SmartNICs or have the ability to learn it quickly.
Must be prepared to work with the detailed procedures of
routing and communications protocols from state diagrams or
tabular definitions. Will be supported by a senior
software architect.
Northern Virginia location, but remote work will be
considered for a suitable candidate. Direct employment
or on a contract basis.
Excellent long-term opportunity for a person with the right
